  • TAO - this is a fun locally owned shop selling handmade women’s leather goods and jewelry.

  • Shops along Cuna De Allenda - there are a number of stores located on this little street that are fun to check out.

Parks and Churches

  • Parque Benito Juarez - One of the most beautiful parks in all of San Miguel de Allende, it is less than one block from the Rosewood and NUMU hotels. Almost every weekend there are artists displaying and selling their artwork!

  • Jardin Allende and La Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel - The Jardin is the center of town and is surrounded by a plaza that is often full of people listening to mariachi bands, taking pictures, dancing or just strolling while eating ice cream cones.

  • The Parroquia - this is San Miguel’s architectural centerpiece.

  • Church of the Immaculate Conception - This church has a classic and very beautiful dome and cupola and was built over nearly ninety years beginning in 1755. It is located next to the Parroquia.

  • Templo de San Francisco de Asis - Built in the Spanish Baroque style during the last quarter of the 18th Century, this is one of the most outwardly ornate churches in town but has one of the simplest interiors. It is close to one of the most popular markets in town: Mercado Ignacious Ramirez.

  • Jardin Botanico el Charco del Ingenio - Biodiverse nature reserve and botanical garden primarily featuring a broad array of cactus plants.
